Thankx Everyday consolidator level agent get newly released pricelist from Airlines. So, please contact your travel agent. FYI: Route for this perticular Eva Airlines sale is via Bombay (using BR71/72) flight. The reason, why I said "price does not look like Sale price" because for most of airlines high peak season starts from either 14th Dec or 8th Dec. but here, if you see date range Eva Airlines applying high peak season price from 1st Dec by saying "Early Bird Special", for 1st to 10th Dec it's not really special price. |

nnr said:Seating / Pricing strategy:I would like to know what will be seating / pricing strategy for 15 months old kid. I tried a couple of airlines none of them give me clear picture. Can anyone share their exp.thxLess then 2 year child count as an "Infant". For Infant, you need to buy Infant ticket which is around 10% Adult Base price + full tax (no more 50 Lbs bag for infant - Except Emirates) This ticket called "Infant in lap". By buying this ticket, you are only purchasing rights to carry baby with you in your lap, it does not give any official seat for the baby. Child Ticket (75% Adult Base + Full Tax) gives seat (same as adult seat). So, when you travel with Infant in a lap, As a courtesy Airlines provides bassinette seat. This bassinette seat is like wide "laundry basket", where infant can sleep in it. At least 14-16 moths old normal size baby can sleep in this basket. Once your bassinette request is confirm, after flight is in the air, air hostess comes and set you up with bassinette, before landing on any intermediate airport, they will come and collect it back and then give it again. This infant basket hooks-up on the partition wall in front of your first row seat. So, when you are travelling with infant, choosing seats online in advance may not work. After you purchase "infant in lap" ticket, before travel you can call airlines to request bassinette seat (agent can also do same thing). Before buying infant ticket, people worry that, Will they get bessinette seat or not ?? When Airlines has more infants on board than number of bassinette seat capacity, then 6 months old infant gets priority. Bessinette seats are given on International flights (I mean on bigger flights), not on domestic smaller flights, at that time you keep baby in lap. When you travel with infant, you are allowed to take stroller with you, does not mean that if you do not get bassinette seat in the flight then you can use stroller in the flight. You will be giving out your stroller before boarding flight, so stroller is not an alternative for bassinette seat. Stroller is, to use it on the airport area so you can keep yourself free from carrying baby. People who are traveling with above 15 months baby and have habit to do micro-manage, starts checking for size of the bassinette seat with each airlines, but finally all those time go waste when they are attracted/forced to go with lowest ticket priced airlines. For example, Lufthansa may have 3-4 inch bigger bassinette but adult ticket price is $300 more then Air-India ticket price, so they compromise with 3-4 inch, which does not make difference in real life as baby is not going to complain that "Unhh Dad, my bassinette is 3 inch smaller, I do not want to sleep in it today !!" In case, upton departure if your infant is less then 2 years and upon returning if your infant is going to be more then 2 years then be careful to check rules with airlines, if airlines is strict and you do not want to take chance then you can do half ticket as infant and half as child. If you do not do half infant/half child ticket upon buying ticket and upon return, if airlines staff ask for ticket as a child ticket, then you are stuck to buy ticket from airlines counter with higher price based on seat availability at last minute. I hope, I covered everything. |

Sometime, Eva Airlines waitlist takes even 15-20 days to get confirm. Problem might be with your return date 5th Jan, not departure date, Keep waitlist only with one agent. |

Patelbhai... I have gotten tickets for my friend through you earlier this year.. I have a crazy plan to travel between July 21st and July 31st to Chennai from Lexington, KY. I have a valid visa stamped on my passport. What do the fares look like for these dates? I can travel from Chicago/Atlanta if fares would drop considerably. Thanks, Guru. |

Just for reminder: If you are US Citizen and you have family in India, In case of urgent/emergency travel need, Make sure your passport is ready to leave anytime for India. To visit India, if you have to take visa or dual citizenship in the future, then why not take it today? If you have Indian passport, also make sure for it's expiration date...Upon emergency travel need, if your passport is not ready, it's adds lots of last minute run, headaches and cost. Also, remember if you stuck such a way that Indian Embassy can not do anything and still need to achieve the goal then last (and last) solution is contacting Senator in your area, and see if he/she can do something. |

I have travelled from ATL to HYD with NWA/KLM in 2005, and my roommate chose Lufthansa.. and from our experiences, they are pretty similar. Lufthansa reaches Hyd a little earlier than KLM.. but check both airlines and pick the one that has reasonable waiting time in Europe... One word of caution, if the nwa/klm flight out of atlanta gets cancelled for any reason, then they will route u thru detroit or minneapolis... I had a long saga of loosing passport that way and going thru hell for a couple of days... but NWA staff was real friendly and even put me on the flight on monday for free besides letting me come back to ATL from Minneapolis for free and helping me with searching for passport. Stupid ATL airport, being the busiest in the world for so long, their lost and found is closed on weekends and their staff is farthest from being helpful pal |
