Nice...green

Very restrictive if you live in the Washington, DC and NYC routes. Not valid on Metroliners, Acela, or any other regional trains.

This offer is valid for travel on the following services:
- Northeast Corridor (Boston/Springfield, MA - Washington, DC) Regional trains (not valid on Acela Express, Metroliners, Clockers, Keystones or Downeaster)
- Empire Corridor Service (Albany, NY - New York Penn Station)

It works for me when going from Montreal to NYC. (half of this trip is from Albany to NYC)
On the other hand, if I get 2 round trip tickets, it only makes free one leg of one ticket (out of 4)

When does this expire?

Tickets must be purchased by December 8, 2006 for travel through December 15, 2006. This offer is not good during the following blackout dates: Jan. 13-16, 2006; Feb. 17-20, 2006; Apr. 13-17, 2006; May 26-29, 2006, Sept. 1-4, 2006, Oct. 6-9, 2006, Nov. 9-12, 2006 and Nov 21-28, 2006 ; plus per fare plan purchased.

Also not valid for travel in the Northeast Corridor between Boston and Washington D.C. at Peak Travel times. (Peak travel times are Friday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6:59 p.m. Exceptions to these periods may occur on certain dates near major holidays.)

just for kicks, i put in my fav route~ from ky to new orleans & applied the code.
it took the code & took $70 off a ticket for 3 to travel!!

Round trip from Boston to DC for 4 (two adults, two children) took $202 off. $404 total, Not too bad.

Is there a route finder on this site to find what routes I need to take from a desired city to another city which requires multiple routes? It says invalid when I input my locations.

Or do I need to look at all the routes and calculate all the stops manually?

Is there a time period that this discount is valid for?
Any deadline date to purchase tickets?

Sorry- I see the answer is posted upthread.

Being in Jersey, but close to a NYC train, those are the only two I would have interest in travelling anyway. oh well

They have a route atlas that does something similar:

Route Atlas

But, I still find looking at the PDF route map much quicker:

I know you guys hate the travel forum, but this is a repost from there.
