I am not familiar with the Discovery card - I know that Discover card does provide car rental insurance for some cards. Please call them and see what they provide. If they provide insurance, then you must decline the insurance at the rental counter.

Voted Best Avis AWD Discount Code: C070127 https://www.av_is.com/AvisWeb/reservation/ReservationsInitializer?AWD_NUMBER=C070127 (remove the underscore in the link) - Excellent rates, best Avis discount offered anywhere - Anyone can use this code, this belongs to Car and Driver Magazine readers (go pick one up from a magazine stand?) - Unlimited miles - Discounted one way rentals and no drop off charge - No driving area restriction in North America - Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) included ($3000 deductible) - I keep getting upgraded by using this code for some reason THIS is the code I would like to use....but their isnt a coupon attached to the link? I would like something to print out just in case?.. |

are the car rental pretty strict or flexible on pick up time? is it ok that you go pick it up couple hours early? or if you go pick it up a couple hours late will your reservation be gone? I have my reservation with national car rental. |

I Tried the Avis COUPON CODE C070127 which is suppose to include LDW. This code belongs to Car & Driver, I called Avis to check to see if this includes the LDW and was told no, but it is a corporate code, but doesn't show the insurance is included.. Does anyone have an updated code to this that will show up LDW is included.. I'm going to Orlando Febuary 13-18 2008.And want to get the best deal with LDW included. Thanks. |

Hi All, I'm renting in Charlotte, NC March 26 4PM returning March 30 8AM. I have to get the car at the airport (CLT) and even after trying multiple companies and codes I'm not finding anything less than $55 a day. Any help for a newb? I have Delta, Continental FF and AAA affiliation. Thanks! |

I'm trying to reserve a one-way rental from Boston to Buffalo for July for 2 days using the C070127 code and all I get is $60/day with no included miles or anything else... is the coupon not good out that far? |

This free third weekend day coupon becomes valid through Dec 31, 2008 http://redirect.Avis.com/corp_accounts/third_weekend_cp.html The question is whether the AWD number C070127 is still valid. Can anyone confirm? |

this situation is quite odd: if I choose to pick up at 12NOON then the daily price is $20 cheaper than the one if I pick up at 9AM. I'm only looking for a one-day rental. So, do you think it's OK I book the 12NOON and then go to pick up the car at 9AM and just tell the Avis guys "I'm bored so I'm here earlier..." Should that work? |

I've been having good luck with this Avis code from Flyertalk. G417900 Have used it several times, very good rates, no I.D., and free LDW. |
