Hi there, I checked into Planet Hollywood this past weekend and had booked with code CNEW7. I did not have a player's club card and was not asked for it at check in. I asked nicely for a room with a view and was surprised to get a free upgrade to a large room on the 23rd floor overlooking the strip with arching windows. I'm still in awe! I also received coupons for everything stated in the package. The 2 tickets to the V Show has been changed to Stomp Out Loud, a new percussion show I enjoyed immensely (tickets range from $50-100) so it was definitely a hot deal. The 2 for 1 buffet coupon was good for one breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There's also a coupon for $10 in slot play after putting in $20. The new player's card is called A List, which I promptly signed up for. The remodeling of the casino, buffet, and lounge areas looks wonderful. The outside still has construction work going on but did not get in the way of walking on the strip. Overall, I believe the value of this hotel is fantastic. Have a great time everyone! |

You forgot to mention the new Pampas restaurant that's in the Miracle Mile (used to be Desert Passage shops). That was also excellent and a hot deal. When you go to the Half Price Tickets booth and make dinner reservations you get dinner for 2 for half price. |

I checked in on 4/25 using one of the CNEW codes and I WAS asked for my player's card. Luckily, I went and got one right before I checked in. The show tickets to Stomp Out Loud was awesome!!! Definitely take advantage of the free tickets. The buffet was great for dinner, but I would not recommend it for breakfast (was there around 9am). Everything about the hotel was great except the pool area - too crowded and small (only one pool was open). |

Just got off the phone with someone from the reservations desk. She confirmed my reservation but then asked for my club card # which I don't have as of yet. She couldn't guarantee my rate. She put me on hold to ask her supervisor. When she returned she said that the promos are for existing members only but online bookings weren't something she was too familiar with. I asked to be transferred to the players desk but she said she can't transfer from the toll free lines.
She told me to call 1-702-785-5555. Guess I'll give that a go. She also gave me 1-888-252-3346 which she says is the VIP number.

I was there last week and had no problem checking in. The players cards have been replaced now by the Planet Hollywood one, either was, wasn't asked at checkin, tipped the front desk $40 and got a massive suite.
Didn't hear any construction and the hotel location, and quickness to physically be on the strip, has this as one of the best places on the strip.
As well as the 241 buffet, I got 2 free tickets to see Stomp at checkin. |

Do you know which room you actually received when they upgraded you to a "suite"? |

On the vegas promo thread there were a lot of posts about not calling to confirm. They ALWAYS ask for your players card # on the phone and this raises suspicion. |

I was prepared for that. I jsut didn't want to get to the hotel and them not having my reservation. It's happened in the past. I just hope my account/room reservation didn't get flagged which I'm sure it didn't. I'm guessing they have better things to do then worry about me. Only 17 more days and I'll know for sure. |

Hi, there,
I recently booked through the CNEW9 link for the night of Jun 17, although CNEW9 was supposed to be booked before Mar 23. I got the confirmation email from PH but it doesn't mention anything for the free show tickets and etc. For the people who booked before Mar 23, does your confirmation email say anything about the free stuff? Thanks in advance! |

Make sure you print out the offer page with your dates, this includes details of the perks included and show it at check in if needed.
Having said that - I used an expired offer booking in March (it included straight free play rather than $10 for $20 coin in) and the computer printed out the correct voucher sheet with no problem. |

Just got back from Vegas and stayed at PH (Aladdin). Had no problem at check despite calling in before to confirm reservation. I went and got my players card before checking in. The reservationist never asked for it. Got the great rate ($49 a night!), upgraded with the $20 trick, and several other 'perks'.
Construction was never a problem. Never heard a thing except when waiting in line for cab at 3 am. Several jack hammers going like mad! But the line was short so no big deal. Only other minor complaint, and very minor it was, was it was rather windy on our visit and while walking by/around the outside of PH lots of dust and sand blowing. Again, nothing to complain about.
All in all, a great stay.
When checking in, look for an attactive blonde in her mid/late 30's named Denise. She was awesome. |

Stayed at PH this past weekend 6/15-6/17. Booked about 2 months ago with the CNEW9 code ($109/night). Signed up for Player's Club right before check-in, but was never asked for card. Tried the $20 trick and received very nice remodeled resort room on 38th floor with a view of Bellagio Fountains and Paris. Absolutely no noise problems (heard some jack hammers when we walked outside to get to the strip, but never heard anything inside). Service was great - will definitely stay there again. |

Hi Everyone! We used the CNEW7 code to reserve 2 rooms in May. Upon arrival, we got our player cards then proceeded to check-in. We were asked to present our cards because she said our booking was through 'casino promotions', so we did...everything was OK. We weren't able to get rooms on the same level, but it was OK. Our room was really clean and quite large compared to the other hotels we've stayed in. (The bathroom was HUGE!) I think the hotel is very much still in transition to PH so alot of the decor was still "Alladin" style, but there was a free copy of OK! magazine which I enjoyed very much..haha..Our room didn't have much of a view, but it was still really comfortable! We also received coupons for 2 for 1 buffet(which was really yummy!!) and 4 tickets to the show STOMP. Our stay overall was excellent and it was such a good rate for a Saturady. I read in the threads that people do the $20 trick upon check-in...I was too timid to try it...can you all give us some tips on how to handle the 'tip'? haha...thanks in advance.

Okay so I am booking this online and its asking for the the Casino ##...should I ignor that part and make the reservation with the promotion and then when I get there sign up for the players card? If i reserve the room will I get a confirmation of my discounted rate? or will it automatically charge me the full price b/c i didn't enter the casino card #?
Should I use someone else's player number for now?
also what is CNEW9...where is there an option to enter that in? is there a link for it. I have been using one of the links provided here to another promo,
*****************UPDATE***************************************************
I actually called and booked under that code and they did not ask me for the Players card #. |

I am staying at the Planet Hollywood Casino for 5 nights in December. I am using promo code CEB671. Could someone please tell me where the sign up booth is for the Players Club? I will need the card before checking in. As a side question, are taxi's readily available at the hotel? Are there long waits? Thanks! |

Thanks! To get your Players Club card you need to take the escalator. When you arrive by taxi you are in a tunnel like area that leads right to the check in and elevators. Take the escalator up and head to your left near the cashier's window. You'll go past the Heart Center Bar and past the craps tables. The Player's Club sign up is to the left of the Cashier's Window. You'll need a driver's license. It takes about 5 mintutes or less to get a card. Ask about and specials while you are there. When I was there, they had some kind of 'match' play thing going. You play a total of $40 in the first 24 hrs and you get $40 back or something like that. I don't gamble (unless you call Texas Hold'me gambling) so I didn't take advantage of it. Have someone wait downstairs near the check in with the suitcases. Take your card and head back the way you came. Don't forget to use the $20 trick. The PH has a great success rate for the 'complimentary upgrades'. Taxis were never a problem. Day or night there was never more than 3-4 people waiting. Max wait time was no more than 10 minutes (usually only 30 seconds cuz there is almost always several taxis waiting). The longest wait was when we checked out at 4:00 AM. And all the guys that call the cabs for you were great. Enjoy your stay. |
