American Casino Guide(ACG) is a great deal. around $11.00 on Amazon and Overstock.

Discounted rooms, food, shows and matchplays.

I never go to Las Vegas without it.
And the best deal is use one or two coupons and you get more than your money back.

When you return from LV you can sell it on eBay for close to what you paid for it.

Las Vegas Coupon Trading Forum
You can trade your extra American Casino Guide coupons on the above forum.

Thanks ... Kdawg will appreciate this as he has a trip planned in March

I'm heading to Vegas for my Honeymoon in Mid March, is there a better book for coupons that that ACG? I'm going to gamble, but not very much so Im more interested in a book with coupon codes for food and shows. Any ideas?

Here is a link to a few more free online coupons:

Las Vegas Coupons

It has some 2-for-1 show coupons, discounts for meals and tours, and a few other things.

TY to everyone so far to contributing to this thread!!!

You can get american casino guide at Buy.com for $14.82 - $10.00(google checkout)= $4.82

If you like to use the monorail to get around LV, you can save 15% by buying tickets using this website:

Free shipping. Valid until March 30, 2007.

Does anyone know what the expiration date on these particular passes is? It's usually printed right on it. I have a trip coming up in October, just wondering if they'll still be good then.

Thanks.

Apparently this company sells tickets for many events so you can wait and get tickets closer to your trip. Visit their homepage for more options.

Would there be much value in getting the Entertainment Book for Las Vegas? It's only $13.50 now. Not sure if there's anything good in there though.

It's actually $3.67 shipped now with Google Checkout.

Is it worth getting the Entertainment Book if I order American Casino Guide?

I just got back from Las Vegas and had bought the American Casino Guide for free with some free Amazon gift certificates I got from taking surveys on Testspin.com

We used a lot of the coupons in the book along with coupons from this thread plus some from the magazines that we got there.

The ones that we used the most was the free slot play which we made about a hundred bucks on.

We used the Buy one get one free Riviera comedy show but it was still 30 bucks because of all the taxes and fees that go along with Las Vegas Shows.

The best show deal we found was at the Stratosphere for the American Superstar show which for 49 bucks you get a ticket to the show, 2 drinks from the bar, buffet, and admission to the tower.

first, thanks for the coupon thread.

does anyone know how long the monorail coupons are valid for?

edit: i just called tix4vegas.com and the tickets are valid for one year, so anyone can take advantage of the discounted monorail tickets available for special events and conferences.

Not a coupon, but I read somewhere that if you sign up for a player's card at the Stratosphere you get a free pass to the observation tower. I'll be there the last week of May. I managed to get VIP passes to 9 different clubs for ~$11 shipped on fleabay. The clubs are Pure, Tangerine, Light, Jet, Pussycat Dolls, Coyote Ugly, The VooDoo Lounge, Risque, and The Late Night Emporium. Almost all of the clubs have a $20 or Higher cover charge (Pure is $50) besides having to wait in line, so I thought it was a pretty good deal. Some of the clubs are only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and some of the passes may have expiration dates, so if you bid on any make sure about what you're getting.

I don't see where it is free... looks like they charge for admission passes. am I missing something?

check out kshp.com for discounts of 30-70% off some shows dinners etc most are not on the strip so you would need a rental car

Hi I have noticed that the Tropicana coupons have expired has anyone any Trop/Folies coupons for September ?

Cheers
Simon

Be careful with those passes. I visited that auction page and noticed that some of the passes are the ones that people give out for free. I received a couple while walking around each casino and felt special that I received a "VIP pass." We got in line and noticed that everyone else was holding a "VIP pass."

List was updated today. I am sorry that I haven't been on in for a little bit. I checked the links and they all worked, but if you have a problem, please update link or let me know.
I also organized it a little better, so it is easier to navigate.
Pre-order is out for the Casino Guide 2008.

The VIP passes to the clubs in Vegas are a joke. Of course they will get you in for free, and considering what they want to charge for entry it's not a bad deal. But if you're not on the invited guest list, you'll be waiting in line with all of the paying customers. For me it gave new meaning to VIP, something I always thought to mean quick and free entrance. Guess not. And for those who think these passes are given out freely - well they are, but the givers expect a tip. I gave a couple of bucks for a pass to a club I didn't have a pass for, and the person giving the passes out acted insulted that I would give so little. If I had known how he would react I would have given him nothing. Additionally I got an email today from Luxor suggesting that I could party with Paris Hilton at LAX the nightclub on 10-31, but I think I'll pass. The funny thing is that she'll probably be paid in excess of $100K for her appearance. LOL. For some of us "life sucks and then you die".

I think what you saw wasn't an insulted look but instead the shocked look that you would tip anything. I used to live in Vegas and routinely spent time on the Strip almost every week. I never saw anyone tip a pass distributor (or pron distributor for that matter). Nor did I ever see them holding out any money like they had been previously tipped and were hoping the next "customer" would take the hint and tip them.

Scantily clad females handing out discount buffet coupons, discounted or free show tickets, or other items of some real value were another story. Those would indeed occassionally get tips of a buck or two but they would never act insulted even with no tip.

you can also buy club passes off of eBay.

too bad the $5 off Rio world buffet coupons are only sold on eBay, they use to have them on the net and you can print them out.

anyone use this coupon and it works? They seem blurry.

http://www.vegas4locals.com/coupon5thavenue.html

I don't think you will have a problem. I have also seen these same coupons given out at the casino.

Hi. Has anyone tried these coupons? I am interested in the fashionistas 2-for-1 but would hate to get to the door to find it was not the 'real deal.'

mmde1 said: Hi. Has anyone tried these coupons? I am interested in the fashionistas 2-for-1 but would hate to get to the door to find it was not the 'real deal.'
You should be fine, i'm sure it will be accepted and if it wont you can find many other 2-for-1 discounts handed out on the strip itself, there are also many other 2-for-1 shows you might want to check out here's a list of updated vegas show discounts.

Remmeber that these 2-for-1 shows are giving these deals out because they cant fill their entire theaters thats why the chances of them turnning you down are slim. (you dont see Cirque du Soleil giving out 2-for-1 tix) although Monty Pythons Spamalot is at 50% off for a short time - monty python discount half price.
