Do not go to the Top of the World Restaurant, as previously mentioned. Yes the view is great but the food is not, and it is overpriced. If it is a good meal you are looking for at a reasonable price, go to the Steakhouse at Circus Circus. I know, Circus Circus is a dump, but the Steakhouse is fantastic, and you should be able to have a nice meal in your price range. You won't get too far with $120 at most fancy restaurants in the larger hotels in Vegas. Trust me you, and the person you take will love the meal here (assuming you enjoy steak) |

this is almost in your budget...
Morton’s The Steakhouse is inviting guests to experience the $69 “Classic Combination Dinner,” which includes a single-cut filet mignon served with béarnaise sauce and steamed fresh asparagus, (use to include a choice of an Australian lobster tail but that part has been discontinued) two Alaskan king crab legs, and your choice of salad. Wow, what a deal! If you’ve never dined at Morton’s, this is the perfect opportunity to find out what all the fuss is about it! For more information and reservations, please call (702) 893-0703. |

Ok Just got back from VEGAS!!!! We stayed March 3rd - March 6th. On March3rdwe were at the Strat. I decided to try the $20 trick found a female that was open and tried TOTALY SHOT DOWN!!!!! The room was sub par and the employees were really not helpful and did not want to be there. The only part good about the hotel was in casino card comps. but you cant use your 100 in fre money for 10 days. and I dont know about the rest of you but I only go once a year.We switched to the Aladdin on the 4th to stay for 2 nights. I was ready to try again with the 20 trick. Went to a man and the twenty vanished!!!! He looked at my ID and said your from Illinois? I am from there. little small talk, and then he said this is what I can do for you, how about a room on the 44th floor looking at the fountains! I was very excited and said thank you very much. When we got to the room it was a SUITE with a view of the fountains and a balcony! The staff was WONDERFUL friendly and would do anything for you. When we went to check out and settle up our bill------ I was told Mrs Taylor I hope you had a wonderful time and thank you for staying with us please sign here.... I looked down at the total of the bill and it was $0.00!!! Both nights had been comped and the dinner we charged to the room was also comp , they even comped the $5.00 bottle of watermy husband drank! We are not big spenders we only played about $600 for the 3 days and were treated like we were VIP! The players card reps were great! They knew we were leaving the next morning early and offered us cash instead of the meal credit that we had earned. You can also spin each day for a chance to win $1,000 in a 5 min free tourney of slots.( sadly we did not win) There is also a chance to pull a slot once a day to win prizes and 2 million ( again we didn't win) They were still working on the casino and the outside of the building but you really didn't notice the construction workers unless it was 5 am and then you saw them, yes we were up all night only slepted 6 hours of the whole trip. What a waste of a great room!!!!!! |

Hi- I've read through all the steps and would love some help!
I am planning a study abroad reunion trip in vegas with about 8 people... we are all around 22 years old and want to get a huge suite so we can all crash together
DATES: May 25th- 28th
we're trying to obviously spend the least amount of money necessary but also get a sweet ass room... kinda impossible i know. when i was younger my family and i stayed at some crazy venetian suite with double doors and 2 bedrooms. is it difficult to find suites like that that arent ridiculous prices?
thanks for the help! |

You're gonna be hard pressed to cram 8 people in one room! They have maximum occupancy rules and they can be strictly enforced at times. Your best bet is to get two rooms with two queen beds each. |

thanks for the help!Memorial Weekend is a heck of a time to look for a deal on a Suite.
8 people in any room is a lot, suite or not. Consider getting three standard or deluxe rooms at an off-strip property. Most likely, your dates are blacked out from any promos. You are probably looking at at least $100 (with taxes), per room, per night, even at places like the Stratosphere and the Orleans.
Suites at the Strat average $225 (before tax) per night for your dates and you will need two rooms to fit all eight of you relatively comfortably...that assumes you share a queen bed or get them to give you two rollaways. Either way, you are looking at about $75-90 per person, per night.
If you are going to "live" in such close quarters, I hope you know each other pretty well. |

Me and my group of college friends are graduating this May and we are trying to plan a pretty legit trip.
We went last year and were a bit out of our league, not bringing enough money and getting hussled by a couple of promoters, etc.
This year we want to get bottle service or VIP so we don't have to wait in the 2 hour lines -- we were considering a Europe trip, but decided to spend the additional cash it would have cost on a minimalistic Europe trip on doing a really good 5 day Vegas trip.
Our tentative plan is to fly into Vegas May 9 and leave the 14th (Monday).
We have found a couple of flights for $200 with taxes out of PBI, but we are trying to figure out where to pay and how to get in on the best fatwallet coupon deals.
Our club plans are to attend 3 of the following on Thurs, Fri, Sat: PURE, Tryst, Body English, and Tao.
We're trying to find a place that is a good crowd for young, hip college kids -- we've been to Hard Rock and been told it's the right scene for us, so if anyone can recommend another hotel like this, that'd be ideal.
I'm a regular on the HD forums, so please go easy on me here -- thanks guys! |

Just about any major Hotel on the strip would work for us, we really enjoyed MGM, TI, and of course, Bellagio. I can stay at the Westin for $69 a night (including weekend) but I'm not sure if I want to.

Ok guys, screw the price I am willing to go all out......I want to take my girlfriend on a very romantic dinner somewhere along the strip. What do you guys recommend? (price does not matter). So far I'm intrigued by the Eiffel Tower restaurant @ paris, Tao @ venetian, alize @ palms, and top of the world @ stratosphere. |

I want something on the strip that isn't Imperial Palace
Here are the best prices I have found so far:
MGM w/ Grand Tower Promo - $360 ($150, $150, $60) Excalibur with View (View Room) - $373 ($151, $161, $61) Luxor Pyramid Deluxe - $424 ($175, $185, $65)
Thanks
Have you found anything else that's cheaper? Buddies and I are actually going the same time you are. Everything seems to be really expensive on the strip (>$300).
I found a couple that are cheaper, Tropicana for $297 and Sahara for $314.
I work for Starwood so I made a reservation at Westin...$69 a night. I'd like to be more on the strip but I don't think I can pass up $69 a night. I might try to get the same deal at Aladdin (also Starwood owned).
I'm going to keep looking for deals, let me know if you find anything good, thanks. |

I would book the Tropicana for the price you state you found. Please let us know where and how you got that rate for your dates of travel. |

The experience is out on the strip not in your hotel room. With that said, I'd still pay another $200-$300 if I Bellagio or Venetian had something reasonable. Here's the link for the three nights at Tropicana for $299: https://res.tropicanalv.com/cgi-bin/lansaweb?procfun+rn+resnet+r15+funcparms+UP(A2560):;IEMB307;? |
