hmmmmmmmmmmmm......... SORRY... cancel the firing squad !! and sorry to have wasted 0.0015856236786469344608879492600423 % of your posts on this waste of time request I had 8mom2boys said:kennyg1966 said:is this not the LASVEGAS REQUEST THREAD ? Yes, it is a LV request thread. Yes, you may post a request.
No, you did NOT read the first page on how to post a request.
Just saying I found no deals doesn't mean a thing. You showed no effort made ...no codes used, no rates, no nothing.
We aren't paid travel agents who search for those who make no effort and just say "I tried and found nothing". Well if you found nothing then you must not have looked hard enough.
It is NOT BS...you did commit a crime here by not following the rules..if you don't then we won't help and you best go elsewhere. |

skimatt said:DOes anybody know a reliable / inexpensive limo service in Vegas for jaunts to off strip golf courses and other sites? Hard to sift through all the ads an couldn't find a relevant forum. Not interested in renting a car. Check out eBay, I was able to find some Limo services pretty cheap. Plus you could negotiate with them over the phone for exactly what you want if you already know they are into deal making through an auction site. |

To be honest can you answer a question that should be answered from posters like you.... Do you honestly expect to come to a forum full of people looking for travel deals and post a request for someone to find YOU a rental car in their SPARE time when YOU have made no effort at all? You took the time to find this thread, but didn't bother to read the first post on how to post a request, you then return days later and find no one has found you a car--SURPRISE SURPRISE...then you get nasty when people tell you why and show you how to post. There is an entire thread showing LOTS of rental car codes/discounts/coupons and even if you had posted the same request there it would have been the same. The OP in any request has to make an effort to find the rental car (a minimum of 3 are required), airfare rates, hotel rates, etc. before help is given. If you don't care to follow minimal rules then you best be contacting a travel agent or taking whatever car rate you get. If you show respect and consideration and show research others might assist in saying try these codes or this is the rate I got recently with this company. If you show no respect and place an order for a car then the drive-thru will probably remain closed. |

I know it's your thread, but maybe it's time to consider if it's no longer useful. More broadly, when they turned the "Travel Deals" forum into the "Travel Discussion" forum it was the beginning of the end; an acknowledgment that the forum was not just for sharing deals we've found (like the Hot Deals or Free Stuff forums, for example). Unfortunately, it's turned into a frustratingly weak version of TripAdvisor, and a place for lazy whiners (like this kennyg) to broadcast their laziness. |
