I'm in San Diego, and I need little mini-vacations, as crazy as it sounds I just want to get away for the weekend anywhere in the USA thats cheap and fly back home over the weekend.
Such as fly after 5pm on a friday, and return on a sunday anytime. I want to be able to go different places even if its only for a day.
Where can I find the best deals that airlines have to offer?
I do the same thing but locally. You are flying at the prime times so expect to pay more than taking off a Thursday and returning Sunday.

I receive a weekly email from American Airlines with those kind of fares (both domestic and international) with ~ 1 week notice (I believe it's called LAAst Minute FAAres...). Maybe other of the airlines also have email suscriptions that include those kinds of fares...
And, since you are in San Diego, you can always suscribe to Southwest's DING or check the last-minute-fare sites (the ones given already and others...).
