I wonder if the FW effect will increase the number of people signing up for the gay discount. I can just imagine the Alaska Air executives surprise at unexpected number of gay people. Suddenly everyone buying a plane ticket is gay!
So pay the GAY rate and fly, if they see you are not gay and have a problem sue them for discrimination.
It is just something, that all the gay right activists are always toughting that they want equal rights, but in reality they want all rights plus extras.

There's this discount accesible from the front page and also a bunch of other deals. It just happens that new York discount was mentioned in the specific gay section. I bet they will rotate these discounts once in awhile.
I think anyone can use the coupon. They are not checking your gay ID at security.
The VirginAmerica coupon DIGGNATION, focusing on a particular demographic, can be readily used by anyone. Few would cry discrimination though.
Equally, hotels offer discounts for certain people attending a conference, such as a focus on the family (right-wing group) or a California Teachers Association conference (we love our teachers). Why havn't people complained about this too? =P

i think it is totally legal companies have promos all the time for married couples whats the diff?
The ad campaign was targeted to gay and lesbian travelers. Anyone who happens upon this code can use it; it's not like they're going to ask you to prove that you're gay. Just use the code and get the discount, for Pete's sake. It's just like another poster said... airlines will give you a discount if you're going to a convention if you can find out the promo code that was sent to legitimate convention-goers. How could this promotion be illegal then?
