Thats a valid point, and I am waiting it out. I guess that makes sense. That would mean that multiple people could have the same confirmation number if many were submitted the same second.

That means that it took you nearly 2 minutes to submit the form. I didn't receive my confirmation until this morning and it took me a 1.5 minutes, so obviously a LOT of people got in between 1 and 2 minutes.

If you have a higher number and chose one of the more obscure hotels don't give up hope. I just got an email that I got my second choice, the Bo Phut Resort & Spa in Thailand for 2 nights in late November. My confirmation number was 122477069x. With the exchange rate it looks like it comes to $37.72 for two nights - no resort fees!

I havent received anything since I submitted. Are they sending out denial emails as well?

Looks like the Arizona Sedona Summit Hotel is having great deals on their studio rooms, so if any of you requested it on LHW and didn't get it, you can possibly get them for $75 on certain dates.

Just got my "thanks but we cant accomodate you" and I submitted my form in the early numbers.

Company sucks.

I did it exactly at 10am and was denied. Sounds like a hoax. I'd love to hear from someone who actually got a room.

A lot of us have already reported that we did get rooms. Check the related forum on Flyertalk, too.

What was your exact time stamp (see the previous posts for converting your confirmation number to a time) and hotel choice?

alert mods

Yeah I signed up at 10 AM on the dot also.

I just got my denial letter last night. Hard to believe that you choose 3 places on 3 different dates and they aren't available.

I bet they only actually gave out about 10 rooms so some people can talk about it.

Oh well; live and learn.

Only hotels I saw them giving rooms for were out of the country.. knowing that you wouldnt just fly in for two days and leave.. you'd HAVE to buy more room days from them.

Promotion sucked!

Why are people complaining? Sure, the promo was not planned well from the get go, but people have reported getting rooms. No one was guaranteed anything. Stop crying.

Disclosure: I did not get a room confirmation.

I got two nights in Sedona, AZ. Pretty happy about it since I never get these "blink and they're gone" internet deals.

My hotel choice was in Quebec.
When I tried for the original promo, the hotel rep. told me to keep trying on the computer that people were getting through. I wasted 80 minutes trying to get through when no one was getting through. That was a joke.

I stayed at The James in Chicago this past weekend for $19.28 per night (2 nights) thanks to this promotion. Tax was only charged on the discounted rate so my final bill was about $22 per night including tax. Tax situations may be different elsewhere, but I'm happy with this outcome.

How was it? I'm staying there in December.

Good (actually, great at this price). You'll have a great location - just one block from Michigan Avenue and all the lights. You can read my full review on TripAdvisor.
