Thanks!

I just reserved two free nights. You don't even have to pay taxes!

Your welcome. Anyone else here have success reserving 2 free nights?

I just called and reserved it. The person taking the reservation couldn't find the promo code. She asked how I got the offer, I replied that it was emailed to me. She found the code and I'm in for two free nights.

I really appreciate the posting of the code.

Glad you got the deal. Anyone else here have success reserving 2 free nights?

Got in! I'm not 100% sure if I can make it, but will definitely call in advance to cancel if I can't.

Thanks OP!

Wow, there must be plenty of rooms left. This offer has been going on since Sept. Anyone else get in on this deal?

damn I just tried to call and lady was not being cool at all, she said its only for one club members
and she said she cant book it without that number and matching room name.

LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@

That is whacked. The person I talked to was a guy and I called during the evening. You might want to try it again. I just had to mention the promotion and the code VTT608. When the person asked if I had a one club membership I just told him that I didn't have one, a friend just forwarded me that promotion via email. He was cool about it and reserved the 2 free nights for me; he did mention to remember to bring along a copy of that promotion and also that I will have to sign up for the free one club membership during check in. I said ok and he just gave me the confirmation number.

Just called and was told he can reserved the room for me but I have to show the copy of promotion addressed to my name. Otherwise they will not honor the offer even I have the confirmation number during the check-in. Be careful of that..

are you a one club member? If not, did you ask them if you can just sign up for the free memembership during check-in? The promotion itself isn't addressed to anyone. You can just print it out here:

For those who got in on this deal, was it a success or did they give you a hard time?

I didn't really have any problems. I called the number on the flyer, asked about the "free stay", the guy asked if I was a Club One member, I said no but received the email from a friend, the guy said OK, but make sure I sign up for Club One before I checked into the hotel. I got to the hotel, signed up for membership, and proceeded to the check-in counter. The lady looked up my reservation, asked me for the email printout, I handed it over, and along the way I went. I was a little worried as she stared at the email for longer than I had wanted her to, but she just sent me on my way.

My friend also tried to call in for the offer, but got denied as the rep said she had to be a Club One member, and the email was only for specific people. I think your chances of getting in on the deal depends on who you spoke with on the phone. My rep was a guy - her's was a girl.

Props to OP for the deal - I just got back from the trip - I lost $60 in the casinos, but can't beat having free accommodations.

When i called to make a reservation, i was denied as well. She told me it was for invitations only. I wanted to call back, but decided not to cuz i didnt want to be left out in the cold if it was true. im gland they didnt give you a hard time.

This deal got even SWEETER...

It's been a week since I got back from my free stay at Circus Circus, and I get this letter in the mail today. It's from the casino welcoming me to the One Club program with an invitation to a FREE 2 night stay, good until January 31, 2009 (excluding holidays & special events). It did not seem to have any other blackout dates - just call the number, provide the reference code, and bring the letter with you when checking in. Please note this is a regular snail mail letter, not an email, so it cannot be duplicated.

I guess I'll be going to Reno again in the next couple of months!

Keep an eye out for it - don't throw it away with the junk mail!

aw man...sorry i missed this!

Anyone searching Reno and finding this thread. You couldn't PAY me to stay at Circus Circus VEGAS. I was in Vegas last weekend and my taxi driver even mentioned how she refuses to pick up from Circus Circus due to it being the hot-spot for visiting L.A gangsters. Hear-say of course, but the place is god ugly.

Of course if this in Reno ... nevermind.

heres another one. 2 free room nights and 2 free VIP movie passes. Mention code: VMVE64
Call 1-800-262-8705
November 14 & 15. Like the previous offer you must be 21 and a One Club member.

prinout offer here:

I didn't think Circus Circus was any cruddier compared to the rest of the hotels. Reno is old - it's nothing like compared to Vegas. For those who are going as a first trip, expect the following: Not a lot of glitz, not a lot of tourists (I must have been the only dork carrying a camera), old/older buildings, and some sketchy people walking around. Still, I felt relatively safe walking the streets at night, as long as you don't wander too far away from the main casinos. There's really only a handful of them there (Eldorado, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy, Harrah's) - you can probably walk the "strip" in less than 5 minutes. I did enjoy my time spent in the Eldorado/Circus Circus/Silver Legacy as the hotels are connected, making it seem like a larger complex to wander around in. That would probably be the main "hangout" spot. As long as you bring a good group of friends and some booze, you're good to go. If you're going as a "tourist", you'll probably leave disappointed.

keep trying till you get a male rep. They are usually cool about it.
