I was elaborating on your post. BUT- to clarify- you can use any code with National and have your free spouse driver as long as you are EC. Are you a member? If not, you might want to join in case a good deal comes along. It's Free and has great perks. With National you can combine codes and coupons. You can't do that with all of them. |

I'd love to be able to get a good rate through National EC and check out what's in the aisle. But, at least right now, an intermediate through Costco is $2,195.83 with Costco contract and coupon codes 5025938 and ND2182HLD. There's gotta be a magical combination out there somewhere.... are there better codes we should try using? Looked around and didn't see anything substantial except 10% with Visa (only one we don't have) and the common $25 and $35 off total rental price. |

What code did you use for Budget? Are you trying "iffy" codes? The EDS code for National will get you down to around $1400 midsize. The other cars are less but they are .30/mile- feel like doing some math? |

I've tried just about every code I've seen posted. We're driving at least 1534 miles (by Google map) so the .30 per mile would be significant. Still trying. Saving even $100 now would be a good thing. |

You have nothing to lose by giving Carrentalsavers a shot. |

Did you see if PL would take a bid on this? They do the occasional one-way now, if you fill out the p/u d/o part. |

Been to http://www.carrentalsavers.com/ and their codes don't work for a one way Denver>Las Vegas. And I only wish that PL did a one way from Denver. They do one way's only from selected cities... This place http://www.mousesavers.com/ had some good car rental coupons. Although the site is geared towards Mickey's place, the car rental offers seem generic. Worth checking out/registering for. |

Wow. FW does it again. Obscure on this post http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/travel-deals/790643/m13735028/#m13735028 is coupon 7012298 for Alamo that does wonders. Can't determine where it's from or how valid it is. |

That's why I asked you if you were up for iffy codes. |

So what happens if one uses an iffy code which includes insurances and there's a mishap? In order to qualify for the credit card coverage, one has to decline coverage and that won't happen if this code is used. Could the renting company claim code doesn't apply, we're not covering you? I'm sure they'd try anything to get out of covering a claim. |

carrentalsavers has the deal where they find your best rate for $5; if they can't beat your best by 10 you owe them nothing. that was what I meant you should try. |

0 Free Miles Included $0.35 Each Additional Mile, Calculated On Return And Actual Miles Driven Mileage fee makes it an expensive rental. Great coupons to use, though, if one isn't traveling far. Great rates. Thx regardless. |

I think you need to select midsize for your one way (it gives unlimited mileage)... it does charge per mile on the less expensive options (making them not less expensive). |

That's true. Thanks for posting that. Still a great rate! Researched the code online a moment, it's from Sprint. What if the counter asks for a coupon or something dumb like that. What should I say? |

It's from Sprint friends and family perks, available to anyone - there is no coupon, and there are no special requirements. We have been using it for several years, all over US, and never had any questions. In fact, our hybrid is in the auto/body repair shop right now and we have a Prius for less than $25/day all in with that Contract ID and the $35 weekly rental coupon. The one way coupon is National's current web coupon, so you should be fine. |

Again, if you are in Emerald Club, your spouse drives free. I need a one way rental code for October (DAL to SAT). This one expires in July. Where did you get this code? |
