So I found this on Slickdeals from one of our fellow Fatwalleters and have yet to see it linked to here. Even if it is somewhere, I believe it deserves its own post to get into the mainstream!
I am going to LV in July and ordered one for me and one for my girlfriend and will be doing something similiar to this blog, which was created by the same person who made the spreadsheet.
It would be really helpful is someone knew how to import this into an excel file, or edit it so I could print all the columns at once. Please PM me if you can so I can add a link to this post and use it myself.
I also created this map with the promos I was going to use, yes I know, pretty self-centered, to get an idea of where most of them are clustered. I did not include the Strip Promos because I will be up and down the strip regardless so all I needed for that was to just sort the coupons I get. I am did not order the LVA, but may try to pick up the coupons on craigslist when I get there so they will not be added to the map right away.
I am happy to open this up to collaborations, as it would work better to change each icon for the clusters so that when you print it out you can tell which icon goes with which casino. Just PM me if you want to work on it for our benefits with your email address.
This post is only useful for 2009, but could work well to provide a future format for the next ACG and LVA.

op: thanks for all your hard efforts. I just want to mention, for the purpose of those that arent familiar with free slotplay money, most of these places will not let you use any slot machine for the freeplay and wont let you withdraw any of the money that they give you for free play... Other then that have a great time fw style!

If you read the blog, she goes through the casinos that offer you free slot play and free "slot" play. The first being totally free and you can withdraw the money the minute you run the full amount through. The latter being money you run through until it is A) Gone, B) You hit the "Jackpot"

How to use free slotplay:
1. Insert Player's Card 2. Add free slot play to machine 3. Max bet 4. Push button a couple times 5. Cashout any winnings

So, if you're given $15 free slotplay, you cannot cash out the $15, but you can cash out anything you win after betting $15 in the slots. That is not true. If I play $1 per spin, and on my first spin i win $5, I can cash out $5 and $14 of free play will remain.
Yeah, great deal... I'm still going thru trying to understand how it works...but this could add another angle to the trip... That is, not only gambling the meager amount we have set aside for "donation", but also weaseling the most free money we can

If you read the blog, really one person is driving around while one person drinks (unless you have 4 people like me and one doesn't drink anyways) for free. You basically build a bankroll on the way. If you have two people, the easiest and guaranteed way to make money is to use the match plays at the same time on the roulette wheel (one person bet black, one person bet red). Then again, if you can play craps I would also recommend that since you can easily make a good amount on the come bets.
My wife and I did our first "coupon run" earlier this month. We visited ~17 casinos over 3 days so needless to say, it was VERY tiring. I do plan on using matchplay/free play coupons again in the future but will not hit up as many places.
Some observations from our trip:
1. Dealers/pit bosses give you dirty looks when you sit down at a table with coupons in hand, play the matchplay and leave. Some of the dealers give you a WTF look like they have never seen the coupon before, others will treat you like a cheap SOB. This can be slightly mitigated by being polite and playing a $1 tip bet for the dealer(although this cuts into your +EV).
2. We felt most uncomfortable doing this at blackjack tables. Some matchplays are BJ specific, but some are playable at other table games. It seemed much easier to use the matchplays at roulette in particular. Just play red/black or even/odd.
3. Some casinos will only accept 1 coupon per person per day. Sometimes you can get around this by playing the ACG and LVA coupons at different tables which are far enough apart and managed by different pit bosses.
4. Best deal was not a coupon. It's the $100 slot play at AZ Charlie's (we did this at the Boulder location). To be eligible, you can't have a Stratosphere(or related property) players card. Staff was very friendly. Most slots are 1c so either max bet the slots and hope for a big hit or play the $1 VP machines. Because you must first risk your own $100, I think a good strategy is to set a target (say you hope to win $100) and play until you either win that amount or lose your $100. If you win, great. If you lose, go to the players club and claim the $100 free slot play. Play low risk (maybe 5c VP or small slot spins) to reduce your variance and once you playthrough $100 on the free slot play, cash out whatever remains. You should be able to still cash out at least $80+.

Wow, so they let you play your own money, and then they give you free slot play for another $100? It doesnt seem like the best deal if you essentially have to risk $200 all the way through if you end up losing just a piece of your initial $100. I guess we are going to Vegas to gamble anyways, I am just not a big fan of the slots in general.
It sucks that they are offering up these coupons, and get aggravated when you use them. Yes, they are to stimulate play, but what if I don't want to play anymore? I say F* um. You want me to come into your casino and check it out, and possibly gamble(lose) my money there, it is not going to be free. Especially for some of these off strip casinos. Even the ones on the strip are a bit of a walk, from the parking garage that is...

I used the matchplay coupons in craps, and the dealers didn't really give me any attitude about it. I simply put down the matchplay coupon, and my chips on top of it.
The only time I was heckled by the dealer was at the Palazzo. I had a $15 matchplay from Club Gratzie. I put the coupon down on the pass line with $15 of my chips. I won the bet and left the table. When I was leaving the dealer said, "Hit and run, huh?" I just smiled and him and left. I didn't really care, because I won $30 with 5 minutes of my time.
I can't seem to locate the LVA coupon or coupon book..?? Can someone tell me how much it is and where to get it? I am seeing membership to the LVA on the website site..... but it is 50 bucks! Is this a magazine publicationyou pick up when you are in Vegas?

Thanks in advance.......... CybernepMembership includes the LVA coupon book. Opting for the "online newsletter" reduces the price to $37. You can save shipping costs by picking up the book in Las Vegas, but you must order in advance. Unless you have a rental car, just have it shipped to you.
The LVA is kind of expensive, but probably worth it if you are driving around already. I opted out as I have never done any of these promotions before and know there will be another chance to go to Vegas anyways. I am gonna match play red and black on the roulette with my girlfriend so we basically come out with the guaranteed amount and go spend it on a nice rental car for a day or something.
