Man, that sounds expensive! How much is it normally in NYC?Definitely more than $25.
Overnight - I would double it and say $50. $25 is a very good rate.
I almost pulled the trigger on this one and then I decided to try to get a better price on Priceline for a four star hotel in Manhattan. I ended up getting the Royalton hotel on 44th and 6th in Midtown West, right by Times Square and Broadway. This boutique style hotel was recently renovated and reopened and has a lot of really good reviews. I got it for $105 plus tax for August 16. Plus I get 3% FW Cash Back.
I guess that even though the $115 deal for the new Four Points Sheraton was a really good deal, it teaches me to always try for a better deal on Priceline.
Now, I have to figure out how to afford everything else on my quick trip. I am going to take my two kids on a little vacation there. It will be the first time my 11 year old will have been to NYC, so I'm so excited about showing him everything.
The $115 fare was fully refundable when posted. (See rules below from my reservation). I was rather suprised by their generous deal. =)
re: Parking. $25/night in NYC is a STEAL! (lol) I took a picture of a parking garage, albeit in Times Square, with a parking "special" of $8.99 for 30 minutes + 18% tax!
