Book on Sheraton.com?

I wasn't getting those rates, I only see 179+

Four Points by Sheraton It has the Grand Opening link.

Decent prices, they wouldn't let me book a room with double beds though.

Thanks for the deal! Just cancelled our previous reservation down the road and booked 3 nights for about 400 bucks.

Good deals, I tried to book 8/6-9 and I couldn't get in on it. Good for those that can use it!

Dead Deal I am getting $234

I guess all bets are off in December. That's when I want to go and got a $271.00 rate.

I can't get it to work for me for the early August.

I saw $145 for early August, still "cheap"!

End of August still $115!
Edit early August too.

anyone know how much it would charge for parking?

I called. They have a garage 1 block up that charges $25 per day.Per the clerk it's a discounted price for hotel guests.

Man, that sounds expensive! How much is it normally in NYC?

Definitely more than $25.

I checked for this past weekend and it was $179. All the parkings nearby had sign stating 16/hr plus 18.75% tax!

Not available in mid-October at all

Booked 8/23-8/25 for $115+tax per night. WATCH OUT- 100% cancellation fee. That means, you cannot cancel and if you do, you do not get any $$ back.

Overnight - I would double it and say $50. $25 is a very good rate.

I almost pulled the trigger on this one and then I decided to try to get a better price on Priceline for a four star hotel in Manhattan. I ended up getting the Royalton hotel on 44th and 6th in Midtown West, right by Times Square and Broadway. This boutique style hotel was recently renovated and reopened and has a lot of really good reviews. I got it for $105 plus tax for August 16. Plus I get 3% FW Cash Back.

I guess that even though the $115 deal for the new Four Points Sheraton was a really good deal, it teaches me to always try for a better deal on Priceline.

Now, I have to figure out how to afford everything else on my quick trip. I am going to take my two kids on a little vacation there. It will be the first time my 11 year old will have been to NYC, so I'm so excited about showing him everything.

The $115 fare was fully refundable when posted. (See rules below from my reservation).
I was rather suprised by their generous deal. =)

re: Parking. $25/night in NYC is a STEAL! (lol) I took a picture of a parking garage, albeit in Times Square, with a parking "special" of $8.99 for 30 minutes + 18% tax!
