So I just found one of the $10 deals on LastMinuteTravel.com and wanted to share with everyone the date. I searched for the New Orleans hotel for July 8th and got a room for $10 (including taxes). I am going to be searching through the others today so I'll keep everyone updated on what I find. If anyone finds any dates please let me know as well.
Yeah, $10/night hotel in Manhattan? Pretty sure you're going to die by either some transmitted disease or a drive by shooting! If you survive one night in this hotel, go ahead and sign up to be a contractor in Iraq or Afghanistan. You can make $120K+/yr and you will have a safer life!
Good luck

I wanted to let everyone know that I got in on the Last Minute Travel $10 hotel deal in Atlanta and it was a great experience. I had no problems checking in and the hotel was fine.

yeah the hotel we went in Newyork was awesome !! it was worth 10$ deal.
Wow. $10 per night x 30 days per month = $300 per month for a place to stay with free electric, maid, heat, cold, parking, etc. I might just move into a hotel if we could somehow get this to work every day!

They extended the InterContinental in New Orleans to at least the 15th; it doesn't say on the $10 promotion page, but if you search after the 10th in regular search, the cheap rooms will show!
I almost feel really bad...almost. I think I will just tip a little extra and use the concierge and etc, because this is ridiculous.
BTW, Priceline is probably around 65-80 bucks, which is pretty hot as-is, but this is en fuego.

The dates and cities of the $10 hotels are listed on their site now. Most are within a week or two of today's date. My friend is checking-in at the Houston 4*, the hilton Post Oak today. $30 total, including tax, for three nights. On hilton's website the rate is $111 (advance purchase) + tax per night.

Anybody know which New York hotel it is on the Upper West Side?
cool I might need to check this out for when I want to get a hotel I just have to wait and if worse comes worse i'll just book at a hostel.
edit: Am I missing something? I tried the date listed just to see if it'd work with the $10 a night thing in New York City and I can't get it to show the price. Is this like a lottery type thing?
