Hello! I've been doing some shopping around on other forum sites, and some of my own research and found some great deals that I've personally used that I'd like to share with you
Below are some of the codes I've compiled that I find to be my absolute favorite.
Vegas is never too far out of reach for a quick weekend getaway with great rates and great inclusions. Hope it helps y'all!
MGM021: Rates Starting @ $49. Inclusions: $35 Activity Credit, 15% off Spa Services, 2 VIP Passes to Studio 54 or Tabu
MGM028: Rates Starting @ $49. Inclusions: $15 Slot Play, 25% off Spa Services, 2 Comp Passes to Studio 54 or Tabu
MKT282: Rates Starting @ $49. Inclusions: 2 Daily Buffet, 2 Nightly passes to Studio 54 and Tabu, 2 Daily Passes to Wet Republic, and 2 Daily Access to the Gym.
My favorite is MKT282 as I've been looking to work out before going out in the evening, but never wanted to pay the access fee at any hotel. The buffet is good, and I love the Alaskan King Crab legs they serve at dinner time. Wet Republic is an awesome day-life pool party with sick beats and friendly staff.
We have booked a room using MKT282. I called the hotel to see if "daily access" to the buffet was from check in to check out and they confirmed it was. So this means I could have a late lunch, dinner, and breakfast during my stay, right? Has anyone already experienced this and could share their experience?

We enjoyed this the last week of June. I believe you are limited to three trips per person per day. Beware of the early evening lines. Slight shifts in scheduling helped minimize the wait, and the cashier might possibly be talked into providing a VIP pass to escape the lines. The food was good, but being a buffet, was repetitious. The "bungalow" room upgrade was extremely large and well-appointed with an excellent view, although equipped with an older TV. The entire stay was well beyond expectations, to the point we booked again for late September. This was the best Las Vegas promotion we have experienced since the (ancient) days of Bob Stupak's Vegas World $1000.00 match-play offers.
Just came back and had a great time! Did the daily buffet gig and it was the same food all the time.. So we did eat elsewhere.. Be aware that breakfast (cept for sundays) ends at 11 am and they are strict on that. If you miss a meal, you miss a meal. No subs. But otherwise good food.
We ended up going to restuaraunt.com and buying some discount coupons for steakstrip and RM and some other great restuarants at mandalay bay which is a short tram ride from the Excalibur which is across the street. Also with your players card they have a buy one get one free for KA. We also got upgraded to a spa suite which was nice.

I have never stayed at MGM Grand, so haven't used their promos, only for MGM Signature. But from what I read and understand of promo code MKT282, it doesn't seem as if you have all day access to the buffet with this code. It states, "2 for 1 buffet is valid once per day during stay for registered guests only". So, it is "2 for 1". Also, it is valid "once per day". You may want to call again so that you aren't disappointed and can plan your trip knowing the correct information.
Thanks for the heads-up! I actually used code MKT278 (sorry, I didn't double check and OP's description sounded like it) that says "Daily access for 2 to the Grand Buffet" for up to 6 visits. I got this deal for $59 for the night and it seems too good to be true!
GOod deals now for MGM/vegas Too bad i booked earlier with the US Air promo- this would have worked out cheaper. Another note: $50 sun-thurs...$129 for fri-sat (checked aug-sep)

what code did you use to get the $50 sun-thurs rate? i'm trying to get that rate for week of 8/16 sun-thurs. it's coming up with $93/nite sun-tues, then $57 wed/thurs. i was using the promo code mkt282. even spoke with a supervisor - said $93 rate is correct. any help would be appreciated!
1) do prices normally fluctuate? i'm planning on going 8/19-8/24, and i've been keeping an eye on all the codes, seeing what will work best. i've had my eye on MKT275 for a while, and last week it showed me $471 for a west wing room. today, it's up to $540. is that normal? should i book or wait?
here's what's included with MKT275: * 2 for 1 daily buffet * 2 Complimentary admissions to Studio 54 or Tabu * 2 free inner tube rentals at MGM Grand pool * 25% off Grand Spa or Cristophe Salon * $30 upgrade per night to Celebrity Spa Suite
2) about the $30 upgrade: i assume that excludes fri/sat? do you select the suite ahead of time, or book a normal room and upgrade when you get there?
3) the 25% off spa - it's really only 5%, correct? because the fine print reads: A 20% service fee will be added to all spa services and upgrades.

1. Yes, prices normally do fluctuate. That's why it's best to book it as soon as you see that rate because tomorrow, it may have gone up, especially when you're within a month out of your trip. Most of these deals are refundable, and you just put up the first night's rate as a deposit. It is just best to book it if you can, and cancel and rebook if the price goes down instead of up. Make sure to check the fine print just to make sure it's refundable within 48 hours of your stay. Also, I have seen some deals expire before their listed expiration date, so that's another reason to book it when you see it.
2. Some of those suite upgrades apply to Friday and Saturday nights, but usually it runs more than $30 above the tower room rate for those nights. All you have to do is plug in your dates on the calendar, and it lists all your room options. Compare the standard tower room to the price of the suite for those nights and see what the difference is. You book it at the time, but I am sure you would be able to upgrade once you got there. It may cost you more than $30 per night if you decide to try upgrading once you get there, though.
3. Technically, it's still 25% off because the 20% spa service fee applies to everyone, including those not getting any discount.

i used the above mkt282 code but for dates in aug29-sep2 timeframe. it may be cheaper that weekend.
