Why doesn't it understand "SEA" for the airport code? I will be landing in Seattle-Tacoma airport. Maybe this airport does not have Alamo Rental?

It says rent by 8/20, so you probably just got a cheaper rate due to fluctuations in the market, not necessarily the $10 a day deal. But nice job, either way!

Yeah, if you book it at 9am Thursday, you have to return it by 9am Monday morning. If you return it at 10am Monday morning, the normal rate applies ($22/day). There's a 4 Day Maximum on the Deal. If you rented at 12p Thursday, it'd have to be back to Alamo by 12p Monday. The deal only works within the specific guidelines. If you want to keep your car till say Tuesday, or an extra few hours on Monday, they charge you the normal rate, instead of prorating the deal...

Those of you that use Discover credit cards: Discover has a $20 ==> $40 reward redemption for Alamo.
Use that and reduce your rental price even more!!
I like Alamo! Has that actually worked for you?
I haven't redeemed for the Alamo one, but the terms on the $40-one from Enterprise requires renting at the rack rate by calling a special 800-number---they're supposed to direct-bill Discover the $40, then charge me the remainder. I have talked my Enterprise office into applying the Discover certificate to a promo rate, but it required a manual override and they ended up messing up and not charging me a dime for the rental.
So I'm not so sure if those Discover rental car rewards can be truly considered cash cards. YMMV.
This is a great deal, but YMMV booked Full Size car from Dallas (DFW) 8.20-8.23. Quote was $54 then tax, booked right away. Returned about 15-20 mins to add a booking for Mid Size (remembered it was $42) but when I got to the Pick the Car section they wanted $96 for Full plus tax and $87 for Mid plus tax.
Waited about an hr later and try to rebook. Was able to get the Mid Size for $42 plus tax. So this is why for YMMV
didn't work for 8/21 9am (friday) - 8/24 9am (monday) at LAS. Oddly works for 8/22-8/24. who programmed this exclusion?? anyone else get 8/21 - 8/24 to work?

$25/day extra for being "underage" (i'm 24). grrr, geat deal otherwise!
I have used the discover card alamo 40 dollar rewards on this before and it did work without any problems. It was accepted as a coupon code i think my 2 day rental ended up costing 12.50

I just made a reservation using the discover reward coupon, and it took it. The nice part is that it is treated as a coupon, and that reduces the taxes also. Did you have to give them a printout of the coupon at the time of the rental?

It was nice of you to answer Arram, but surprised that he/she didn't even bother to read the warning from the OP.
