Eastern Airlines did something like this in the 1980s, right before they went out of business.

there are at least 4 threads on this topic already. pretty hot offer if you are unemployed, retired, or have plenty o' vacation.

alert mods

Not sure if this is a good deal. If enough people sign up, expect flights to be fully booked and you will have great difficulty finding a seat on the flight.

Sounds like an opportunity for some ambulance chasers, I mean class action lawyers.

Thanks, OP, but there's a typo in the title --

The deal ends on 8/21/09 (if supply lasts), and Pass sales began today 8/12/09.

And I think you're mistaken about "[1 flight/day]" -- the Fine Print only says: Booking multiple flights departing from the same city on the same day is prohibited.

I was unemployed earlier this year. Looks like a great deal to travel. Wish I had the time now.

Man, retirement just can't get here fast enough.

Very good deal for those looking to sample some of their destination cities for future "living" potential. Can't dedicate a month off now, but I'll have to set aside a month of vacation in the future. Anyone know if they normally run this promotion every year around the same time frame?
