Try Getawaytoday website - they usually have good deals. Also Expedia has a $400 off a 4-night stay at the DIsneyland resort hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, Paradise Pier).
The time you are going (between Christmas and New Years) will be VERY crowded. I suggest researching fastpasses and plan to take a break in the afternoon when it gets really crowded.
Try the Disneyland Forum at the DIS boards. Also take a look at mousesavers. That is the very high season for Disneyland, but you may find some deals off property.
A large portion of California Adventure is under construction, which makes the crowd seem worse. I'd recommend a different season - perhaps when construction is finished.

Mousesavers.com is going to have the most info. Also, Hairy is correct. That is the MOST CROWDED time at Disneyland. I could make a strong case for staying on property for early magic hours to get into the park early. That will probably be worth the value.
