Idk if the $8.99 price is the limit of the offer, but netflix offers a plan for I think $4.99 or $5.99 if you go to the "i want to cnacel screen". It is the 2 a month plan.

You need to be a new member, and I believe that offer you are getting is if you are already an account holder.

meaning can i sign up once, cancel, and sign up again a month or two later for another aadvantage member in the household?
Well, since Netflix will definitely have your mailing address, chances are good they'll be able to enforce the one-per-household limit pretty effectively.

10/23 I'm at least two weeks in as well and nothing yet...
Is this still available? OP reported an expiration date of Oct 15, but the link is still active. I purchased a Blu-Ray player with Netflix access http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/962025, and would like to try the service.
I use cashbaq (another website) that offers $15 back for signing up for Netflix; haven't gotten it yet (same long pending period like any Cash Back website such as FatWallet) but it seems to work fine. Using it right now with streaming of the PS3, works great. Will probably stick.
