Hi All I am looking for the best rental price I can get on the following. I need a car, mid-sized/intermediate or larger, I have AAA, Costco, BJ's Club, Delta Skymiles account, AMEX, DISC, MC accounts, Jetblue Account The only kicker is that we are looking for an easy rental pickup experience, i.e. car onsite at terminal at MCO, no shuttle ride. We have a toddler and don't want to try to juggle multiple bags and a kid and unattached car seat on a crazy shuttle bus ride. Also, I have seen some discrepency on what rentals are actually ONSITE at MCO terminals, not just the counter in the terminal, but the cars should be on-site. Any sort of online checkin, call-in checking, kiosk check-in, whatever keeps us from waiting in line with a kid would be desired, helpful. At the official Orlando Internation Website, it indicates that all but HERTZ of the major rental companies are ONSITE. http://www.orlandoairports.net/ops/rac.htm However, in just browsing through on Orbitz, Hotwire etc, it shows Enterprise and sometimes Alamo as being off-site. Also, this is in Florida, in non-prime time. Should I wait a few more weeks and keep an eye on last-minute deals? Price to beat is Thrifty, quoted below. I got this by clicking on the Florida link on http://www.carrentalsavers.com/featured_specials.html 7 DaysTotalPrice $ 209.05 on Intermediate (Dodge Stratus or similar) Unlimited miles, automatic with air conditioning Pick-up Location: Total Rental Time: 7 Days |
