Free Delta Skymiles (up to 2600 miles) for Insurance Quotes

This may not be anything new, but I just realized after logging into my Skymiles account that there are several insurance agents that give free quotes for home and auto insurance, and you get free miles in return.

Here are a couple of the offers:

Sentry Insurance 1500 free miles
Liberty Mutual 500 free miles Note the Liberty Mutual offers appears to be expired per the terms, but was still listed as an active offer in my Skymiles account.
21st Century 300 miles (x up to two accounts)

Before I pull the trigger on investing my time in these offers, are there any reasons requesting these quotes could have a negative impact (i.e. they pull my credit report, etc.)?

I shopped about 15 companies last summer. They were all soft pulls, so no, it shouldn't hurt your credit score to shop quotes.

Sentry Insurance offer is available to residents residing in: AZ, CO, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, OH, TN and WI.

It looks like the Sentry Insurance Offer is available for other mileage programs as well.

Not true...I did my entire quote through email with my representative.

I received 1,000 miles for my Sentry quote. I'm working with my agent to determine why I didn't receive the full 1,500 skymiles as quoted in the offer.

I have yet to receive any miles from 21st Century, but did receive a quote.

Please post what you find out about the Sentry quote. I also only got 1,000 miles.

For some reason I checked my account today, and finally my account showed 1500 miles for the Sentry quote. I'm not sure why it didn't post right the first time or what happened to correct it, as I never pursued it further when my agent never responded. Check your accounts because the correct amount of miles may now be reflected in your account.
