I'm meeting some friends out in Vegas Wed March 17 - Sun March 21st (dates flexible) I cant find a good flight under 400! I already got a room, just no flights yet..... any help? looking to leave wednesday morning, and come back sunday afternoon, but im flexible, and can arrive tuesday if need be and just stay up all night, or even leave monday if its cheaper.... I'm trying to get in the $300 round trip range
Put it in as a request. Tell people what research you have done yourself. Where have you looked already? People will be more willing to help then. Did you look into booking it as a package? Booking a hotel and flight combined can save some money. Pick better dates to fly. You pretty much picked the worst dates to fly in March. Changing those dates by only a few days can save some big bucks. If you fly out on Tuesday you can fly through Spirit for right around $400. Can you stay later? Fly out Tuesday and take the red eye home Monday night and your flight is a little over $300.
Have you checked out Travelzoo yet? They run weekly specials. How flexible can you be? Changing your dates by a day or two coming and going really looks like it can save you a ton of money! Can you fly in a day earlier and stay an extra day? It looks like it could really save you a lot of money if you can pull that off.

I can change the dates by one day, but thats either fly in one day early, or fly out one day late, prices seem a little better, but still above $400 I'll check out travelzoo... thansks

You can't find a deal b/c that's the first weekend of the NCAA tourney and you needed to book flights months ago to get a deal. At this point you should be happy to get any flight. We're leaving the same dates from EWR and most flights are booked solid and what is available is expensive.
He's right. Not to mention that St Patricks Day is during that time. A lot of Spring Breakers go to Vegas during Spring Break too. It's a tough time to be in Vegas for deals during that week. I think your best best is to change it by one day. You can actually fly Spirit out there and back for just under $400 if you fly out there a day earlier! I really feel like that is the best you will be able to do. Prices will only go up as it gets closer due to everything going on that week.
