Although that i3 would be a very good deal, it's out of stock at all their stores that I checked online inventory.

Does anyone know if this new one listed has an optical drive? Specs make no mention of it, but the photos show otherwise.

The Richardson, TX (Dallas Metroplex) apparently has an open box one available for $205.96, but there's a catch (or should I say 3)...

Condition  - DAMAGED: UNIT ONLY, NO HDD AND LIQUID DAMAGE

Does anyone happen to know what the CPU upgrade possibilities are on these units as well as if there are 6-cell or 9-cell battery options for these units?

no point if you are going to upgrade just purchase something better in the 350$ range.

this is a great laptop for what it is. definitely 2-3x faster than most netbook type laptops.. plenty for the facebooking etc.

might stumble on streaming 1080p flash video if you are using hdmi to a tv.(2 monitors setup)

it appears to have an optical drive of some sort from the pics, but i havent handled it in person so who knows for sure.
