Big Water, Big Waves, Big Fun
North Country Rivers has been Maine's Premier Rafting and Outdoor Adventure Outfitter since 1983. And while these rivers we're unexplored for quite some time, these river guides know the ins-and-outs of these rough-riding waterways. The Dead River is home to 16 miles of continuous white-water rapids -- that's the longest stretch in all of New England. Come to the Kennebec and you'd better be ready for the most popular white water stretch in the region. And if you launch on the Penobscot River, well, you better be braced and holding on to that paddle tight -- it's chock-full of class 4 and 5 rapids (out of a scale of 6, you know).
