Customer Reviews From Cruise Critic
"Well, entertainment sure is everywhere on this boat. You have pools... The water slides are fun and enjoyable; there is music playing by the pool, and usually some dancers. I really liked the Blue Man Group, and the Dueling Pianos."

Norwegian Epic is Norwegian Cruise Line's newest, largest, and most innovative cruise ship. Experience cruising, reimagined, with exclusive live entertainment from Blue Man Group, The Second City, and Nickelodeon Slime Time Live. The inspiration behind the Epic is to offer cruisers world-class accommodations and amenities unlike any other in between ports of call, as it sails through equally extraordinary destinations in April of 2013: Miami, Funchal, Madeira, Barcelona, Spain.
With more dining options than ever before, twenty contemporary and traditional restaurants range from high-energy, to super intimate. Cuisines range from Asian, Steakhouse, Barbecue, and French, to casual pub and grill atmosphere with a sports bar vibe. After your meal, head over to one of the ship's inspired bars and lounges, featuring the specialty whiskey, martini, and sake spots in addition to the SVEDKA Ice Bar - the only true ice bar at sea. Epic changes the face of cruising entertainment, with live comedy, lights, non-stop action, techno-music, flying paint and even hilarious audience participation parties each and every night.
Who needs a waterpark while you're at sea? Just about everyone it appears, and Epic delivers. Its mammoth Aqua Park is a kaleidoscope of pinks, greens and purples, centering on the Epic Plunge, in which tube-riders zip into a giant funnel before dropping through a 200-foot-long chute into a pool below. It's crazy fun, and you'll scream louder than most of the kids waiting behind you in line. Two other slides are just as wet, but not as wild. To escape the frenzy of the Aqua Park, check out Spice H2O, a tiered, stage-like space that serves double duty as an adults-only pool during the day and an adults-only party space at night. Other outdoor diversions include a rock-climbing wall, and an industry-first rappelling wall, a bungee trampoline on the sports deck, basketball court, and the Spider Web - a two-story climbing cage.
Ports of Call:
Miami
Miami's amazing medley of cultures and flashy urban settings makes it a scene to be seen. Visit trendy Art Deco district of South Beach, Calle Ocho in Little Havana, the super-upscale neighborhoods of Coconut Grove and Coral Gables and the unique ecosystem of the Everglades.
Funchal
The mountainous isle of Madeira has been a popular European destination for years. The idyllic island is perfect for exploring with its beautiful beaches, stunning lava formed landscapes and lush, green forests - but sampling the famed Madeira wines is also an absolute must.
Barcelona
After disembarkation, discover a vibrant city full of palpable history, where you can lose yourself strolling down the medieval streets of the Barri Gotic. It's a city designed to delight the senses: visit other-worldly Modernista churches like Gaudi's La Pedrera, or treat yourself at a street side cafe to Patatas Bravas or a Passion Fruit Mojito.
