Admission to the Zoo for Two or Four

Run by volunteers, the Capital of Texas Zoo is truly a labor of love. Get up close and personal with the rescued animals that this facility loves so dearly -- and contribute to wildlife education charities and endangered species conservation -- with this deal: o $17 (regularly $35) for admission for two adults and two children o $10 (regularly $20) for admission for two General admission grants you access to more than 500 animals, including the popular Nocturnal House exhibit and the newest member of the zoo family -- Tank -- the 700-pound baby hippo. More than 14 endangered species live and breed here as a part of programs coordinated around the world. o $39 (regularly $78) for a guided tour for two No two tours are ever the same, and can give you the chance to pet a deer, feed a lemur, hold a snake, watch the wild cats being fed, and more. Limited to 15 people, each tour lasts about one hour.
