During the school’s basic flight-simulator course, a Federal Aviation Administration–certified pilot or instructor first acclimates the student to the controls and fundamental maneuvers of the airplane or helicopter. The class covers turning and climbing, as well as changes in airspeed and flying level, and, if time permits, landing the aircraft. Afterward, guests rehearse their soaring skills for two hours of unstructured simulator practice.
