The EBCT C300 scanner captures high-resolution 3-D images of the heart and lungs. Although the device uses CT technology, it scans at 10 times the speed of a traditional CT machine. The radiologist on staff interprets the results and drafts a report for the patient and the patient's physician, potentially detecting warning signs for heart disease and lung cancer. The visit, which includes an explanatory consultation, lasts about 60 minutes. During the consultation, staff will explain other available health scans and programs; these additional scans and programs are not required.
