Horseback Riding Lessons or Horse Club Membership
Passionate horse trainer Amy Smith has been riding since she was knee-high to a stallion -- and she channels her passion into teaching at Willow Run Farm in Wilsonville.
- $25 ($50 value) for two 50-minute semi-private horseback riding lessons
- $150 ($300 value) for one-month Horse Club membership for one person age 9 and older
- Lessons teach riding basics, as well as what to do when encountering obstacles and more
- Horse Club members learn how to ride and care for horses -- as well as everything that comes along with owning one, like pasture management and more -- and get four private lessons a month
- Club meets Tuesday through Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. when school is out) and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (when the arena is not rented for special events)
- Students should bring lunch; Gatorade and water will be provided
