Spa In The City uses an Nd:YAG 1,064-nanometer laser in combination with a Q-Switch laser, both manufactured by Alma, to disable fungal infections without damaging the surrounding tissue. Although one session may be enough to eradicate fungus, up to four treatments combined with at-home maintenance may be needed for optimal results. Oral antifungal medications must not be taken within 6 months prior to treatment. Treatments take 30–45 minutes.
