As founder of Astute Artistry, Lisa Glickoff stands proud as the 1st Make-Up & Special Effects Training Studio in Michigan. Lisa's highly advanced training program is geared towards Students looking for careers in film, fashion and consumer industries. Lisa's passion has always made her strive to make women feel beautiful and confident through her art. Astute Artistry Studio has trained over 500 Students.
Since the early 1990's Lisa has been an active force in the makeup industry extending her knowledge and skills across the board from film, fashion and philanthropy to help victims of cancer and diseases.
Lisa's extensive background in makeup ranges from Account Executive, to National Trainer, & most notably the 2006 Oscars where she did make-up for several well known celebrity clients including Deborah Messing of Smash, Nicolette Sheridan of Desperate Housewives and Kathy Hilton, mother of Paris Hilton. Lisa's 22 Years of experience as Professional Make-up Artist and National Trainer for several Cosmetic and Beauty Corporations exceed her.
For 17 years of her career she also served as a Brand Ambassador for Several Major lines of Cosmetics which included the Origins Company. Lisa also grossed and achieved the highest status ranking as the #1 New Business seller of products on a national level.
Over the past 2 years, Astute Artistry has participated, coordinated, and executed several Major events. 2 of those events for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute which raised over $10,000 in Melanoma Research. 2 major Film Industry networking events which connected Professionals and Amateurs in the Michigan Film Industry.
