NYE Block Party at the Crowne Plaza Hotel

You've crunched the numbers, and even though we've still got a couple months to go in 2012, you've decided it's time to get started on the countdown to New Year's Eve. Send out '12 in style with an eleventh-hour Adventure that promises to be seriously intense: entry to the NYE Block Party, Colorado's largest all-night New Year's Eve hotel takeover party with live music, multiple bars, and more, courtesy of The Collective 360 (price varies based on ticket package). Head to the Crowne Plaza Hotel -- just 15 minutes east of Denver -- on the evening of December 31 dressed to the nines. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., we'll go crazy eights with thousands of other revelers at a rocking New Year's Eve party in Colorado's largest hotel event space. Concert-style lighting and laser shows will ensure we're in seventh heaven; live bands and DJs will have us rocking out six ways to Sunday; and platform dancers and stilt-walkers will give new meaning to the term "high five." Those of us with the good four-tune to snag VIP tickets will gain admission to the event an hour earlier (8 p.m.) than the general crowd for a private mixer at the hotel restaurant. We'll also enjoy a threesome of sweet extras: fast-track check-in, coat check, and access to an exclusive VIP area with our own bar, a private dance floor, and elevated cabanas. Limo VIP ticketholders needn't worry about parking, however: a Lincoln stretch limo is ours from 5 to 11 p.m. to pre-party in Denver in style, and includes a red carpet roll-out. With only two shakes 'til midnight, we'll start Colorado's largest-ever balloon drop before cannons cover the crowd in confetti. As the night draws to a close, ticketholders with included hotel rooms will retreat to the nearby Hilton Homewood Suites (choice of a one-bedroom suite with one king bed or two double beds) via a complimentary shuttle.
