Choose Between Two Options
- $25 for a Try Scuba session (a $50 value)
- $199 for a group diver-certification program for beginners (a $399 value)
During the first half hour of the Try Scuba sessions, novice divers spend time in the classroom, where instructors introduce them to the equipment and proper breathing and moving techniques. Then, for another two hours, students take to the pool where they start in the 3-foot shallow end and work their way to the deep end, if they’re comfortable doing so. The instructors require that students come with basic swimming skills and bring their own swimsuits and towels.
The PADI- and SSI-certified dive center’s beginner program consists of six four-hour group classes, followed by four certification dives spread across two days. Classes include practice in the heated onsite pool, which students can also access for unlimited free practice during open hours. Approved mask, snorkel, scuba fins, and boots are not included, available for purchase on-site. For flexibly scheduled class times, students can upgrade to the Executive course for a $200 fee.
