Four-Week Art Program

Kids get up close and personal with the work of master artists at Art Within Reach: A Program of the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, which strives to give kids age-appropriate introduction to works of art while nurturing budding talents: o Admission for a child and parent to ABC's of Art For children ages 4 to 6, this program includes four weeks of hands-on activities centering around artwork from the Smithsonian art museums or National Gallery of Art. Running January 12 to February 2, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m., sessions meet in the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. o Admission for a child and parent to Animals in Art For children ages 3 to 5, this program includes four weeks of hands-on activities centering around animal-inspired artwork from the Smithsonian art museums or National Gallery of Art. Running February 16 to March 9, 9:30-11:30 a.m., sessions meet in the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History.
