If you've tasted the Tiramisu or Ricotta Cheesecake, then you are familiar with the work of Grande's Bella Cucina Manager and Executive Pastry Chef Graziella Luppino. Graziella's parents are Italian immigrants who opened their first restaurant in upstate New York in 1974. At the age of 7, Graziella was already a part of the staff. She took on more responsibilities as she grew older and by the time she graduated college she knew the love of hospitality would never leave her. In particular, she developed a special talent for desserts. Still using her mother and grandmother's recipes, she prepares all of Grande Bella Cucina's desserts personally every morning.
Every dish on Grande's Bella Cucina menu is created from start to finish by Executive Chef Giuseppe Luppino. An alumni of the prestigious Johnson and Wales Culinary school of Rhode Island, Giuseppe was head chef of the original Grande's Bella Cucina in upstate New York where he met Graziella. After studying under Chef Stefano Scala, the private chef of Pope John Paul II for many years, Giuseppe and Graziella decided they were ready to open their kitchen to the world.
What they created is a restaurant with the warmth and personality of a family kitchen with the sophistication and elegance of a first class dining experience. Grande's Bella Cucina uses only the finest and freshest ingredients, prepared daily. What else would you expect from a restaurant that has no freezers?
Our Trattoria is a Pizzeria, Barkery and Italian Café all in one. Grande's Trattoria offers fresh pizza, panini, pastas, salads, cakes and cookies. Come in for a cappuccino and desert after dinner or pick up packaged and bottled sauces to take home, or call ahead for takeout. The trattoria catering menu can accommodate parties of 10-200 people.
