The home of the "Real Deal" Chef: Giustino Toppi - 85 years of serving Rochester. In a restaurant at the end of Culver Road in Sea Breeze, you can find some long-familiar food. Chef Giustino Toppi now presides at Italian Osteria, having cooked at some of Rochester's most remembered restaurants for more than 50 years. Whenever I meet longtime Rochester residents, one of the restaurants that is always mentioned lovingly is Lorenzo's, for many years a downtown favorite for lovers of Italian food. Toppi began cooking there and then moved on to places like Tony Grana's, Mama Rosa's, Dentico's, and Trattoria on the Ridge.
