Kaya's Fusion Cuisine is owned and operated by Michael & Jessica Hawthorne. This BYOB restaurant, named after our four-year-old daughter, was built solely on a dream that we made a reality. Our menu style is Fusion, meaning contemporary American with global influences. Our focus is fresh food and fresh ideas. Our produce is seasonal and hand-picked from Local Farmers Markets. Our fish is picked up regularly by the chef that prepares it, whole and fresh and thereafter handles with gratitude for the bounties of the glorious sea. We prefer to serve Free Range, grass fed steaks provided by Lime Valley Mill Farm one of our favorite vendors at the Oakmont Farmers Market. If ever this farm cannot meet our demands for the week you can trust that your meats are humanely raised and properly trimmed by our local butcher. All dietary restrictions are handled with care.
Kaya's is an eco-friendly establishment. We personally recycle everything, including our fryer oil that is converted into bio diesel. We do not use Styrofoam or plastic bags, and are proud to serve One Village Coffee, a fair trade company that roasts the beans to order.
Kaya's is also a family run business that is what it is today because of the talents and work ethic of a supportive extended family, all working toward a common goal. We believe our love for what we do is evident in the cozy, yet sophisticated atmosphere, exceptional service and of course every last scrumptious morsel on our menu.
