Located at 5613 McCart Ave in Fort Worth, TX, Mexico Real Mexican Restaurant offers traditional Tex-Mex dishes and also authentic platters from Mexico's central region. Owners Joaquin and Martha Miranda were both born in Mexico (Joaquin in the state of Zacatecas and Martha in the state of Jalisco). Both moved to Fort Worth at a young age. They met right before Martha finished her studies at Texas Christian University in Business Administration. With valuable experience obtained while working for Becera's Mexican Food, Joaquin opened his first restaurant in 1993. Joaquin and Martha married in 1994. In 1995, they bought Becera's and renamed it Mexico Real Mexican Restaurant. The grand opening took place on December 1st, 1995. Since 1995, the Miranda family has grown from two to five with the addition of daughters Laura (13), Erika (10) and Sofia (6) and Mexico Real has expanded to over 4,000 SF and can now accomodate up to 200 customers. We have been serving the same delicious dishes since 1995 and have added a few more along the way. t is hard to identify which of our dishes are the most popular but the beef or chicken fajita platter, beef or chicken enchiladas, chef's enchiladas, spinach enchiladas, and San Antonio Nachos are a few of the crowd favorites. We offer a family atmosphere and can accomodate small and large groups alike. Our prices are very affordable and the margaritas will certainly ease the edge off a hard day!
