Beer-Tasting Trolley Tour

We've got something brewing and with this Adventure you can sample the flavors of what's in store on a beer tasting trolley tour, with 12 tastings, a pizza buffet, and a pint of beer, transportation aboard a vintage trolley, and a take-home pint glass. We'll gather at Pizza Luce in Hopkins, where our team of porter and ale mavens will be on hand to help up hop to it. With a round of select local pints for everyone and a lunch of Luce's primo pies helping us prepare for the day, we'll be ready for the elements with a palate eager for some exotic brews. With bellies full, we'll hop on a vintage trolley provided by Twin City Trolleys, which will be bringing us all over the western Twin Cities on our beer tasting quest. First stop on the itinerary is Excelsior Brewing Company, a microbrewery with brown ales and IPAs as crisp as Lake Minnetonka. We'll enjoy three samples of their prize-winning creations while also taking a tour of the premises. Before heading off, we'll be able to snag some growlers of our favorites to keep our whistles wet as we travel to our next brewery. Next up are Lucid Brewing Company and Badger Hill Brewing Company, two breweries that share their space and equipment, but create very distinct and tasty brews. Here, we'll get to sample three brews from each brewery, including Badger Hill's Foundation Stout and Lucid's Air. As we sip, we'll be treated to a tour of the facility and hear more about the two breweries' unique partnership. We'll wrap up at Steel Toe Brewing in St. Louis Park, where we'll split into two groups. One group will enjoy some beer lovers trivia in our trolley while sipping one of Steel Toe's ale's. The other will get a behind-the-scenes look at this crafty operation and enjoy three more tastings of their handcrafted brew. Then, each group will switch before heading back to Pizza Luce, where we will each receive a take-home LivingSocial pint glass to help us remember this tap-tastic day.
