"I always explain burlesque as the art of the tease," says school headmistress Bella Blue. "It's about being entertained." NOLA School of Burlesque began in 2008, when what originally started as a workshop blossomed into something bigger than she ever imagined. Perfect for bachelorette parties, birthdays, girls' nights, and more, these classes go over basic moves and even costume making, stage presence, and more. When you feel ready to show off your new skills, you can take part in one of the student showcases held every 10-12 weeks.
