History Starts at Home
Built in 1772, this 50-room mansion -- designed originally as a 14-room Georgian style home -- houses hundreds of documents, photos, and artifacts that tell the story of a young nation marching forward. Public displays include collections of antique furniture, ceramics, textiles, toys, and tools owned by seven generations of Livingston and Kean families; and, a new exhibit dubbed "Ring for Service" that chronicles the role of servants in an Edwardian country house.
