Night Snow Tubing and Pub Party

Between the rush of tourists bleeding their flash bulbs into our nightline and the subways packed like sardine cans with super-puffy coats, you're ready for some decompression with elbow room to spare. Get it in spades with this Adventure: two-hour nighttime snow tubing at Campgaw Mountain with round-trip transportation, all-you-can-eat pub food, hot cocoa, and a beer voucher. We'll meet at 45th Street and 11th Avenue, where a premium coach will be idling. Once on board, we'll have about an hour-long bus ride to get ourselves warmed up for the tubes. (Don't forget to bring snow pants, head warming gear, waterproof gloves, and other cold-weather essentials.) Upon arrival, we'll meet the staff at Campgaw and hop into our tubes. For the next two hours, the mountain will be our oyster. Bright lights juxtaposed by pitch-black sky will be a perfect accompaniment to the fast dashes down the tube-reserved trails and berms. We'll also enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate and some delicious s'mores by the campfire before heading out to the pub party. With our need for wide open spaces sated, we'll address our grumbling tums at Mahwah Bar and Grill--a quick fifteen-minute bus ride from the tube site. Look forward to a private party with an all-you-can-eat slider buffet laden with beef, chicken, and pulled pork sliders; wings; pasta; salad; and more. Along with the hot chocolate and gratis draft beer, a cash bar will help fuel the evening reverie. How's that for upending the feeling of being closed in?
