During a paint-your-own pottery class, kids will spend an hour painting their own masterpiece. Each child gets a large soup bowl, tools, and glazes, and a professional instructor will walk your youngster through the entire process. Simply come back in about a week to pick up the final product (this crew has to fire the piece as a final step.
In the pottery-making class, you'll have two 1.5-hour sessions dedicated to crafting clay projects. During the first week, you'll be sculpting or molding clay—by the second week, you'll be coloring or glazing fired ceramic. You'll be able to pick up your finished product about a week after the class ends.
