The Scouting Report
With conference play well under way, the Dukes continue their quest to dominate the Atlantic 10 as they take on the Xavier Musketeers. Through 17 games, freshman guard Derrick Colter has sparked the Dukes’ offense with 13.4 points per game, earning him the A-10’s Rookie of the Week designation twice during December, when most other freshmen are still busy hoarding acorns in their dorm rooms for winter. In the paint, senior forward Andre Marhold augments Colter's success, leading the Dukes in rebounds, blocks, and group hugs per game thanks in large part to his 7'2" wingspan.
