Frustrated Fishing Trip Leads to Lifelong Dream
Two years ago, local reel master David Cooper left his dandelion garden one day to head out for a fishing trip on the Provo River. Even though he had been fishing almost daily for more than 20 years, he forgot to pack flies. So he stopped at a shop in Orem on his way to the river... only to see that the shop was sold out of the supplies he needed. As the next-nearest shop was miles and miles away, his frustration led him to discover his true calling: to provide equipment and guidance for local fishers like himself. Soon after, Simply Fishing was born, with a simple motto: "We know fishing, and so will you."
