Since 2011, Old 40 Kitchen & Grill has been serving the Lake Tahoe community homestyle favorites made with fresh ingredients, as well as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes:
o $10 for $20 to spend on food and drink at breakfast or lunch
o Breakfast is served from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why We Love It
Whether you like a hearty or healthy breakfast, the friendly staff of Old 40 is happy to oblige. Try the Ranch Eggs: a flour tortilla, spiced black beans, two eggs sunny side up, cheddar cheese, house-made salsa, avocado, tomatoes, onions, roasted red peppers, sour cream, and olives. Or go for the Fakie Scramble, which finds spiced tofu served with seasonal vegetables, vegan sausage, and vegan cheese. Stop by at lunch for a classic cheeseburger or BLT -- or try an original, like the garlic spinach pesto chicken sandwich.
