There's a lot of waiting involved in the winemaking process -- grapes must ripen, be harvested, crushed, and fermented -- all before you can have that blissful sniff, swish, and swig. Winos rejoice; the wait is over at Scribner Bend Vineyards: o $39 (regularly $70) for a semiprivate wine and gourmet cheese pairing session for two o $29 (regularly $60) for a sensory evaluation class for two o $49 (regularly $400) for a barrel room tour for up to 20 people o Available Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Taste Away in the Tuscan Room Scribner Bend is a youthful vineyard fashioned out of its aging, rustic surroundings. The original barn, built in 1918, has been completely renovated and transformed into a unique tasting experience that includes the Tuscan Room for indoor functions. Want more?
