Since 2007, San Benito House has been owned by Franco and Connie Carrubba, natives of Siracusa, Sicily and owners of Half Moon Bay's iconic Cunha's Country Store as well as Shoreline Station. Franco had dreams of bringing San Benito House back to life. His passion for restoring beauty and life to historic buildings was truly realized. After several months of moderate renovation San Benito House was once again ready to serve the people of Half Moon Bay and its visitors. The San Benito House Bar features the best burgers on the coast, local and imported beer and wines, specialty cocktails, and live music. While the Bar is located within one of the oldest buildings in Half Moon Bay, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is warm and friendly. Special Events at San Benito House We host special events year round. Our large patio, dining room, bar and hotel accommodations allow for flexibility. We are perfect for events of all sizes, formal and informal.
