Since 1974, Grandmaster Dennis Ichikawa has been providing instruction in Tang Soo Do and the martial arts in the Southern California, area. Grandmaster Ichikawa has trained with Chuck Norris and has also trained Pricilla Presley.
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Tang Soo Do and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors. Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Our instructors seek to foster self-confidence by teaching students the art of self-defense in its many forms, including American Tang Soo Do. With a client base ranging from 3 years old to adults, the staff keeps people empowered and fit by demonstrating effective ways to properly punch, kick, and look cool in slow motion.
Our philosophy is to maintain the traditional martial arts discipline and respect so we can honor our anscestor's teachings, but enjoy the modern, fun approach to our training and teaching.
